Youth Mentoring

January 01, 2020

We provide mentoring services which can help hard to reach young people within or exiting the Social institutions including Social services, Prisons or education to participate in, and engage with, a programme better and remove barriers to compliance, as well as providing highly structured and positive activities which can open up new possibilities for young people and help provide a bridge to education, training and employment. Crime Intervention & Prevention Schemes

January 03, 2023

Reformed understand how important it can be to intervene early before young people get properly involved in crime. We know that, as with adults, there are often other issues at play which can influence a young person’s likelihood to commit crime, including homelessness, education problems, addiction and mental health issues, environmental factors and difficulties with resettlement or with parenting. We work with young people to overcome these barriers by providing early intervention, prevention and community outreach services to gain an understanding of the social issues faced by each community we work in. This enables us to teach them to approach things differently and solve problems in a way which does not involve crime.

Community outreach

Reformed provide outreach services to communities up and down the U.K. We work with young people and families to build up their self esteem and confidence, inspire them to gain a better lifestyle for themselves, their families and look into work opportunities which are in the best interest of them, their communities and also the wider society. For people with convictions, it can often be a real struggle to engage or make that successful transition back into society and a lot of the time people give up. We inspire others to make the positive changes in their lives in order to become productive members of society. Our work creates a greater community cohesion to build on and str

Employer Training

May 28, 2023

In order to help break down barriers to employment for people with convictions we offer training to employers to highlight the issues that individuals face when attempting to gain employment and help change some of the preconceived negative perceptions faced by young people who have been out of employment for significant periods of time and people with convictions. This training gives employers awareness of the aftermath of crime with education on topics relating to/and including discrimination, exploitation, self confidence and vulnerability and empowers these employers to make better informed decisions & employment process when selecting potential candidates for role and enables people a step onto the ladder of sustainable employment.
